Central Fire Station, Whanganui, New Zealand

Geoff played a pivotal role in restoring the historic Whanganui Fire Station, originally built in the 1920s by renowned architects Ford & Talboys. Geoff’s restoration work preserved the building’s Italian Renaissance influence, giving it new life while retaining its architectural significance. Since then, the fire station has changed ownership and is now home to La Station.
The beautifully restored building has gained attention and was featured in Life and Leisure magazine, showcasing its transformation into a vibrant part of Whanganui’s local culture.
